If you are new to Channel One, registration takes a few minutes. No appointment is needed, and no identification, proof of address, proof of income or proof of household size is required. No proof of citizenship or immigration status is needed. If it is difficult to visit the Food Shelf in person, shoppers have the option to select someone else to pick up their food. Channel One Food Shelf is available to anyone in Minnesota who self-declares your household income as at or below the i300% of Federal Poverty Guidelines based on the number of people in your household. Specialty Foods Note: Let the Food Shelf know if you have dietary considerations such as Halal, Kosher, dairy free, vegetarian, diabetic, gluten free, or low sodium/cardiac diet.
