Bountiful Basket Food Shelf – Cologne
This food shelf’s primary service area includes individuals and families living in the city of Cologne as well as those living in the Hancock, Benton, San Francisco, and Dahlgren Townships. Individuals from surrounding communities welcome as well. There are no income requirements to receive food assistance. Cologne phone is answered during all Chaska & Cologne operating hours. Our volunteer receptionist will ask you a few questions and then schedule an appointment time for you to shop for your own groceries. Please call ahead of time to schedule an appointment. You will be asked to fill out two quick forms when you arrive for your first appointment. No documentation is needed. All information provided remains confidential. A friendly volunteer will then assist you as you shop and choose the food that you and your family enjoy and know how to cook as well as accommodate your dietary and cultural preferences. Shoppers are welcome to visit two times per month. Hours: Thursday 3:30pm – 6:30pm, Tuesday and Friday 10:00am – 2:00pm *Hours are subject to change. Call to verify.
This food shelf provides free groceries and food support to individuals and families in the community. Services are offered at designated pick-up locations and may include scheduled distributions, basic intake requirements, and referrals to additional resources based on availability and need.
